Few outside of the fitness/nutrition world have heard of the term Health at Every Size (HAES), and those who have either get it, or totally miss the point. This idea has been taken into some of the wrong hands and twisted into something it is not. Some believe it means one person can be any size at all and always be healthy–or, that no one should ever attempt to alter their weight for any reason. This perception of HAES is completely false.

“Anti-diet,” another idea that has been misconstrued. I don’t want to spoil the video but allow me to make this clear–anti-diet does not mean anti-health.
